Another Yeti added to the collection
I bought my first yeti 2 years ago and basked in its glory then. The thick "Cat Lady"; material makes it ideal for the winter weather; this newest piece will be slightly less dense and I'm excited for a more "every day wear" (yay working from home!) This is seriously one of the most comfortable pieces I own and wear regularly around the house (and sometimes in public). I get compliments regularly and even perfect strangers don't seem to mind when I say "Pet me! Feel how amazing it is!"
- The hoodie, the fabric, the print
- Having to go to the bathroom, the cuffs around the wrists can sometimes be tight, especially with a smart watch.
This is essential post-run attire for cold climate runners! And cat ladies. I bought this yeti so I could do a quick post-run change out of cold, sweaty clothes, and then cuddle up with cats and coffee before work. It keeps me warm and cozy so I don't have to deal with the post-run or post-shower chill. Now I can just step into the yeti instead of piling on a bunch of layers!
The fit is roomy enough that it is comfortable and provides good mobility - I've done some foam rolling and yoga with no problem. Also it does not seem to collect cat hair too badly...
- Keeps me warm and cozy post-run, or anytime
I finally jumped on the Yeti bandwagon and I believe I chose an excellent year to do it. The polar fleece is THICK and super soft. This is NOT your big box store onesie. This is the sort of fleece you'd expect from a quality outdoor outfitter. I put it on yesterday during a work at home snow day. It kept me warm working from my drafty kitchen and I actually sweat outside shoveling snow in it! It's so soft and comfortable, I fear I may never wear real pants again.
Warning: It is LONG. The crotch hangs low. It's quite ridiculous, really. But by the time you're an adult wearing a one piece hoodie, you're beyond such hang-ups. I can still walk around the house and carry on business and I couldn't do that wrapped in blankets!
The shoulder seams fall on my shoulders so I don't recommend sizing down despite this, though!
- Cozy fleecy warmth
- That society expects me to wear pants
