I took a chance with this purchase bc I did pay attention to the many reviews that this product received. I work full-time at my local Y and need to be ready to jump from office worker to instructor almost daily and I kind of tired of wearing leggings every day. The fit in the waist is a little big in comparison to the rest of the pant, and the zipper broke on my first bathroom use. I won't lie, I was disappointed bc I wanted to boost this review section UP!! I love Oiselle products and I stayed w the pants by asking my seamstress to replace the zipper, she also added a hook and eye for the top. They are PERFECT now and I am still so excited about them :)

I have been eyeballing these for SO long. I almost listened to other reviews and sized down, and I'm so glad I didn't. The one thing I wish for is a hook at the top of the zipper to keep the two sides together. The material is great, the length is perfect, and my normal size fits great.

Waist way too big
I want to love these pants but they just don’t fit. I ordered the size that fits me in the size chart-I line up right on a 10 - but the waist/hips area was way too big, probably 3-4 in too big in the waist. The thighs fit ok which is why i don’t think going down a size would work for me. I love the style and material but would have to get major alterations for them to fit me. Not worth it.
Cute fit! Bad zipper.
I have been DYING to find pants that I can wear on my bike ride to work, and then keep wearing at work. The material and fit of these looked perfect for that!
But as another reviewer mentioned, the waist band was far too big. Like, I can fit my arms down the waist while it's zipped, big. I ordered a 4 (I usually wear a 4 in bottoms at Oiselle), and while the length and roominess were both great, the waist was just far too big. They fell down consistently.
The zipper also malfunctioned after just a few uses - it's now totally stuck halfway up the pants. I've read about Oiselle zippers malfunctioning on other clothing items, too. Hopefully they'll find a sturdier zipper to use for us rough & tumble athletes.

I really want to love these..
When these pants came out, I knew I had to have them. I wear a size 8 in Oiselle shorts for a little looser fit. Generally, in all clothing I'm between a 6 and an 8. At first I got the 8 and they were WAY too big. I returned and got a 6. The 6 fits pretty good in the legs but the waist is still too big! I find myself pulling them up often as they sag in the waist line. I will say the material is amazing though and so comfy. Because of that, I still wear them. I feel like a 4 would not fit my legs anymore but would fit my waist.
- The material!
- The fit ratio of legs to waist
Am in love with the core pencil pants!
These pants are the bomb. Wear them to work and for fun - easy to dress up with strappy sandals!
- Fit perfectly and are so comfortable!

PT Power Pants
I've been buying Oiselle's shorts since 2012, noticed some size ebb and flows with myself and them, would say this is a pretty awesome fit for a 6. Lil loose, but no falling down. Professional power pants ready for squatting and touching your toes. Much better material than the story shorts which had profesh potential but weren't sturdy.
Would give five starts if the pants didn't have the slit at the bottom. Gives a slight flare look to them which I could do without. Also would prefer an eyelet at the top of the zipper for security.

Cute and comfy
Somehow, these pants are super-comfy without looking frumpy. They are snazzy, even fashionable!
They are a perfect low-ankle length. The black is matted, not bright and shiny, which is nice.
