Product Details

When Sally told us she wanted to be cremated in her Aero Tights, we just had to keep making them. As she likes to say, "They're the fiercest tights in the business of sport and the business of business." We're not entirely sure what that means, but we do know these Nyelle™ Compression favorites are beloved, for their beautiful fabric, high waisted fit, large rear pocket, and flattering seams and pintucking.

- Nyelle™ Compression (nylon/spandex)
- interior drawcord
- high-rise, shaped waistband
- mid-weight compression
- rear zip pocket
- pintuck detailing
- 23.5" inseam (size 4)

Leisure only

Wanted to love these tights. I ordered a size 4 after reading the size chart I matched exactly. They are too big and don't shrink at all after washing. There is no compression especially around the waist so you feel everything on a run. They also don't breathe well and feel hot. The storage pocket is large but I think my pants would fall off if I used it. They are cute and soft but are basically leggings not running tights.

A bit disappointing...

I really wanted these to be my ride or die leggings...

Pros: stylish, comfortable, love the high waist, great for warm or cold weather, NOT see through.

Cons: runs big, with their size guide, I bought an 8 but should have gone for a 6. Thank goodness for the draw string. Only a couple months after buying, the material around the inner thigh area started to pill. I may expect it if they were half the price.

Really wanted to like these...

I really wanted to like these - the material feels nice and the design is cute / functional. I had to size down for the pants to at least feel fitted against my skin. Ran in them a few times and they already started to feel loose (definitely not compression). After a few more wears, they're now loose. Sadly don't think I'll be running in these anymore.

I wished I loved them.

I was so excited to get these (size 6). When I first put them on, I adored them. So comfy! The first run was great too. But after a while, the material in the crotch and between the thighs got SO PILLED. I have a pair of LLL black luon tights that I've had for 4 years that are not as pilled. I didn't think much of it until I recently ran a half marathon in the Aeros. I had terrible chafing close to my lady parts. I still PR'ed my half but was also bleeding from the upper most part of my inner thighs. I've never been chafed there in my life. And I've never experienced chafing this bad. Overall, it seems like the fabric is the culprit. It stretched out a ton and that plus the pulling was a recipe for Chafe City. I'll be avoiding all pants or shorts with the fabric in the future. It loses it's shape which is really important when preventing unwanted movement and chafe.

Good in Theory

I really loved these tights. Put them on, they felt great, maybe a little on the loose side but the drawstring keeps them up during a run! I have no complaints about the feel, however immediately after my first run with them I noticed the stitching from the details on the side panel had completely unraveled so the ridges that are supposed to stick up have completely flattened. These are way too expensive for this to happen!

  • Soft fabric, good fit, drawstring
  • Poor quality, stitching on details unraveled after one use

Pretty good tights for running

Overall I love the feel and fit. these tights are so comfortable to run in and the higher rise means I'm not constantly hiking them up! The colors (Black and Graphite) are as depicted on the website. I love all the wonderful details of these tights, they are definitely a stylish option that I'm not ashamed to run errands in after a run. The one issue I have had with these tights is that the seams already have some wear on them in those high stress areas and I have noticed some minor pilling on the fabric ( I have only had these tights a few weeks, so that is a little annoying). I wore them while doing some hiking and am not sure if it was me being to rough on the material or not, so overall I would recommend them for activities like running or walking.

These tights are the best tights I have ever owned. I ran a half-marathon today and fell at mile 12.5. My tights stayed intact. I brushed myself off and finished with a respectable time. I'm 5'7 and wear a size 4. I have these in black and red. Wear them for running and yoga.

Compression fit not accurate

The fabric is just as soft and comfy as people say, but the fit was not what I expected. It's not a compression fit at all. I have several other pairs of Oiselle tights in the same size, and these were looser in the thighs, knees, and calves than any other style. Rather than lying smooth against my skin, it had room to wrinkle and bunch and sag. The waist was the right circumference, though, so I didn't risk sizing down.

These pants are exactly what I was looking for: fitted, falls above ankle, substantial enough material for a smooth look. They are flattering, fun style, and comfortable. The waist (size 8) is a teeny tiny bit tight for me. Most days it's fine and I forget I have them on, but I wish they had just a bit more give in the waist band.

The best tights that Oiselle makes & my most favorite ones ever! I have these in multiple colors because they're that good. They are comfortable to run in, perform at the gym (strength, spin, HIIT, pilates) & have held up very well over several years & countless washes. They are also SO SO SO flattering. They hit right above the ankle for me (5'7") & the waist is right at belly button level. I love these & will probably buy them in whatever color comes out next. Like Sally, I too would like to be buried in these.

Best. Tights. Ever

Aero tights are the best tights I've ever worn. I have two pairs and the Aero capris.

The fit and length are perfect. I'm on the shorter side, and I like tights that fit just above my ankle, and these do. The fabric is soft, comfortable and warm. They perform so well on runs as they stay in place and move well.

These tights also look great with boots and are fun to wear when I'm doing other things than running.

Just perfect.

Why do I not own these in every color?

These running pants are perfect! I was looking for a new winter running tight, and these fit the bill. The fabric is just thick enough that it holds me in (a great high waist), doesn't ride up or down, and looks great wash after wash. They feel cozy to wear, but not too thick to run in on an autumn afternoon. More so, they are so CUTE! I wear them all weekend long, and am sad when they are in the wash. I am 5'4" and wear a size 4. Highly recommended.

  • the thickness of the fabric, the cut moto pin-tuck design, the asymmetrical ankles.
  • I was bummed when some of the flat stitching details frayed after first wash.

Gorgeous style

I bought the bright coral colored pair during the sale and absolutely love the styling and detail. I want more! Please keep them stocked.

They are true to size, but the fabric is thinner and more sheer than I was expecting. Perfect for TX summer weather. BUT... if you're looking for compression, these may not be the right choice. Going down a size may increase the sheer effect.

Note - whatever size you wear in L***l***n is most likely what you'll need here.

I love all the details on these - the cut of the ankle, the pintucking, the seams, the pocket. I take a 6 in the jogging tights and the Moto Leslie knickers so ordered the same here and find they are a bit loose in the legs. The waist is fine, but the tights overall are not as compressive as I'd thought and actually feel quite loose.

best running gear I've ever owned

I went for a 7 mile run in the new aero tights today and forgot I was wearing them. My only regret about these pants is that I don't own enough to wear one to work, to run, to sleep. That's how amazing they are.

Probably too into these tights! Love the high rise, the feel of the fabric, pintuck detailing and length/ankle! I bought them in black a few weeks ago and just bought the slate too (and I've never worn non-black tights). These are my treat for myself. Surprise bonus: they are super warm (great for cold windy runs) without making you hot wearing them to lounge. They're also perfect for yoga given the high-rise waist (it is high, belly button high) but no more distraction from needing to pull up your tights in down dog! Obsessed.

Me encanta!!

They say every woman should have a black dress...well i found mine!! love the new aero tights!! love the details, the fit, & the fabric! They are perfect not only for running ( easy run, tempo workout, long run), but also a great pair to go the gym, travel, run errands. you can also dress them up!! add a nice necklace and a sassy pair of shoes! I have mine in black (size 4) and I could wear them everyday!

+ for style points - for fit/quality points

I drooled over these for a long time before I bought a pair, and 6 months later it's time for a review. The look is just as good as I imagined. They are easily the best looking tights I own, and they are super comfy for everyday wear. But the fit does not merit the almost $100 price tag. The high waist is VERY high if you are even slightly short (I'm 5'3" with average leg and waist length). More troubling is the serious sag when I'm running. I have to pull up the crotch every 5 minutes, which means these beauties aren't really well suited for running. Did I really just spent $96 on running tights that aren't good for running? I expect better from Oiselle. Finally, the stitching detail above the thigh pleats came out after only one or two washes...at least it's not functional...

I waited several months for the size 2 as they were out of stock for a while. Fortunately my wait meant I got the New Aero Tights (w/o the ankle zippers)! I LOVE the high rise and fabric. I am tired of tights that sit too low or not high enough. It's a great change to have the high rise in a tight that's so stylish that I want to wear them running and just out and about. PLEASE don't change the rise or fabric. And I got the black and slate colors.

These are my favorite tights

I thought I loved the original aero tight, but this one is even better. The fabric is buttery soft, compressive but still allows you to move effortlessly. The waist band is more comfortable, and allows a nice fit before, during and after a run. The best part? You can chow down on a tasty meal without feeling like you're turning into a cupcake with the waistband. How is that possible? It's Sally's magical design power.
PS - not having the ankle zipper now stretches the number of ways you can wear this tight - in both colors!

Almost perfect

I wanted to love these pants! The leg detailing and ankle crop are so cute, and the drawstring and zip pocket are great. The only thing I dislike about these pants is how high-rise they are... I mean, I knew they were high rise, but they literally come up over my belly button. Unfortunately I'm not stick thin like the models, so when they are pulled up and tightened for running, I look like I am pregnant. They feel great for running, but I wish the rise was a little less extreme.
