TRIPLE THREAT KNICKERS
Knickers are the ultimate in versatile bottoms. And this season, we've made a slight but noticeable update to the waistband design, with a lighter elastic and improved pocket design that reduces restriction. Knickers offer all the compression, comfort, and pockets of full tights, but the easy, below the knee length that makes them great for all types of workouts. Nyelle fabric provides soft support and rich color. And did we say pockets? Yes, and five to choose from: side leg, zip waistband, and small mesh... for all the places you're going.
- Nyelle Compression (nylon / spandex)
- rear zip pocket
- two side waist mesh pockets
- two side leg pockets that fit a phone
- interior drawcord
- 16.5" inseam (size 4)
- constructed with Bluesign Approved Fabrics
First, these are probably the most comfortable knickers I own. I barely feel they are on, I love the pockets (can easily fit an Samsung S20, in it's case, in the pocket) and I find the fit flattering. I am surprised to see how many people suggested to size up - I personally had to size down. I bought a size 4 at my local running store and thought they were fine when I tried them on. But when I ran in them, the waist constantly slipped, regardless of how tight I cinched it. Consequently, I ended up with crotch-sag and chaffing on my thighs. I ordered a size 2 instead and they are truly beyond perfect. I am going to order another pair in the grey. For reference, I'm 5'5", 120 pounds with a 26" waist and 34" hips .The size chart says I should squarely be a 4, but they were uncomfortably large during high impact activity. I highly recommend these, but in what is apparently an unpopular opinion, I'm going to suggest these run a bit large. The smaller size sits lower on the waist, and perhaps that's why I'm not getting the tummy squeeze others mentioned.
I wear a 6 in the Roga short. I sized up to a 10 for the Triple Threat Knickers after trying on an 8 and they were a no-go. The waistband is so tight. The legs and hips felt fine. I gave them away because i’d washed them. Disappointing for me.
These kickers were my first purchase from Oiselle, and I was a bit skeptical about sizing/fit/form. I WAS WRONG!! These are the best kickers/leggings I have ever worn. They fit well, are so comfortable - I forget I am wearing them, and the pockets are designed so perfectly for running necessities - no drooping, sag, or weighed down feeling. I have been wearing them non-stop for running and lounging. I now own 3 pairs!!! If you are on the fence - BUY THEM - you won't regret it. I am 5'7, 120 lbs and a size 4 fits gloriously well.
I have probably a dozen or so bottoms from Oiselle in size 6 and it's always fit perfectly. I ordered these in a size 6 and they were so tiny I couldn't even get them past my thighs! I'm not even particularly pear-shaped. I had to check all the tags to make sure I didn't order the wrong size by mistake. Nope; I would have guessed these were like a size 2 if I didn't know better. Had to return.
These are the greatest, I trained and ran an entire marathon in these. I wash them constantly, I've fluxuated in weight...they're just the best. I don't trust any other running legging and have tried a LOT. I'm 160lbs, 5'4" and wear a size 8...theyre pretty flexible all around.
This is the first time I've tried the Triple Threat line of products. I'm a solid 6 in Oiselle bottoms, but I wear a size 4 in the Pocket Jogger shorts so I can get the compression benefits. For reference: I am 135 lbs, 5'6, and rocking a pear shape. I picked a 6 for these because, as much as I love the Pocket Jogger compression, I didn't want the muffin top it tends to create. Size 6 ended up being a perfect fit for these knickers. The waist band doesn't cut into my sides and I feel like I can run without things falling. Granted, I've only tested these on short runs so far (5 miles), and I haven't tried loading up the pockets yet. But they've been super comfortable, great for PNW rainy winter running, and I don't have any fears of the fabric being see-through if I bend over. The only thing is that the bottoms do ride up towards the knees and bunch a bit there within a couple miles. It feels a little awkward at first but I'm able to ignore it. Not sure if this would end up chaffing the longer I run, but I'll find out!
I have multiple pairs of nickers and tights from Oiselle in size 2 and they all fit great. I ordered these in a size 2 and can hardly get them on! They are way tighter than my other size 2’s from Oiselle. I do love them though so I’m going to try to exchange them. I’m 5’3” and 120lbs. So go for it, but size up!
I bought these on a fast faves sale, and I am so glad I did! When I initially put these on I was a little worried about the fit (waistband is pretty tight), but they stretched/broke in well throughout the day. Then when I ran 5 miles in them in 40 degrees they kept me dry, warm, AND stayed in place! Please keep these around, bc I will definitely be buying more colors when I have the extra cash! For reference, I am normally a size 12 in Oiselle bottoms and these fit TTS for me.
