Lux Beanie

I love all my lux Oiselle stuff (shirts & gloves), but not this. I'd return it, except the packaging got recycled immediately. I have a normal sized head — I know because I knit a lot of hats as a hobby — and I have a perfectly normal head size. This hat however is so tight I can barely get it on, and if I do it induces headaches instantly. It is not for an adult or a child — it might fit a baby, small dog or your cat. For sure does not fit an adult human head >:-|

Unfortunately most Oiselle clothing doesn't fit me well (I have a long torso and prefer higher rise pants) but their accessories are spot on, including this beanie. It feels a little cool at first when the temp is below freezing, but once I start to move, it keeps my head perfectly warm without overheating. I normally prefer natural materials, but this fabric is wonderfully soft and breathable, and it actually seems to retain less odor than my merino buffs. My only complaint is the $10 flat rate shipping. This would be great for people who are ordering more expensive items, but for a couple of lightweight hats or buffs, it doesn't feel reasonable. Hoping they switch to paying per pound.

I love love this hat. A perfect hat for running or walking the dog. It kept my ears warm and stayed in place. Kudos to customer service as well. When I immediately placed the order I found an email with an additional discount. I immediately emailed Oiselle and received a response and credit to my account within a day. Outstanding products and outstanding customer service.
