Description

The warm, stretchy, winter-ready track jacket of our dreams. This stunning jacket may look simple, but its magic is in the fabric. Polartec® PowerStretch Pro is a dream. You may know it already, as we've had it in the line for years. Why? Because it has no peer in terms of being warm (with a smooth exterior and fleece interior), stretchy, and super long lasting. That's why we kept the design of this jacket simple. A tall collar, zip pockets, long arms with an inset cuff for extra comfort. Heritage level quality, it will be with you for a long time, whether as a warm up piece, or the perfect pairing with denim (or their matching pants).

I gave this to my mom who is chronically cold. She wears it constantly! Chilly evening? this jacket. Excess AC at the store? this jacket. Layered under her winter coat, yup, this jacket.

Way too short

Why is it that Oiselle's outerwear is always shorter than even their first or mid layers? 23", really? I mean, if you're running in freezing temps or below, wouldn't you want your hips to be covered (not even talking about your butt)? As for me, I'm taller than average, so even my lower back would be cold with movement. I tried this on, and all I could think was - yes, it's prettier, but I miss my older Power On jacket. It also had reflective material on the arms and collar, which this one doesn't.

The fabric is luxurious and warm, though, and the collar high. But that's about all this jacket has going on for it, unless you're under 5'5" tall or are just want to look good on your way to your local yoga studio.

I'm addicted to this jacket!

This is the perfect jacket for runs in cold weather (30F and below). It keeps you warm without overheating you. Works well even in cold and wet conditions. I like to layer it over a lightweight wool running shirt. The pockets are deep enough to securely hold a phone, gloves, and keys. Bizarrely, maybe because I layer it over wool, it doesn't get stinky. The fact that it doesn't get stinky is important, because I end up wearing this jacket as a mid layer even when I'm not running! It looks good as a jacket for casual outings and it really works well to keep you cozy under a coat when walking or standing in the cold waiting for the bus. And it is so soft! I cannot take this jacket off! I'm addicted!!!

Great jacket - but not what I needed

This is a beautiful jacket - great fabric and design details, but not what I needed to add to my outdoor wear wardrobe. I have been on the forever quest for a truly warm winter running jacket that could stand up to Chicago winters and allow layers underneath. This fabric is amazing and I love the cozy feeling inside of it. I think it is worth the price and would last forever. The fit didn't work for me. It is snug and short, which is odd for me to say since I am petite and usually like the pieces others feel are too short. I am usually a solid medium and found this medium really tight, too tight for anything other than a light layer underneath, which might be fine for some climates, just not mine! I might wear it to stay warm around the house or under a puffy coat, but I have lots of other O pieces that serve that purpose so this is heading back to the nest!
