This. Shacket. Has been creating a stir at The Nest since the very first prototype. And the very first fittings with Lauren Fleshman, as we looked to create something truly special for her collection. Per usual, a unique, heirloom-level garment starts with an incredible fabric. In this instance: two - boiled wool (from our ethically sourced supplier) + Classic Lux. Wool on the outside, Classic Lux lining the entire inside - it's like the best of two fabric worlds. She's weighty, like an author's deep words. She's warm, like a giant hug from flystyling lumberjack. And the tailoring is perfection, with a longer length, on side hand pockets, and chest pockets with custom Oiselle buttons. Limited edition + quantities.

I was SO psyched when I got this after ordering online. I am a big fan of O products and have loved almost every thing I have ever purchased.
I ordered the dark forest green in a size medium (5’11” 130 lbs, size 4/6) because I am tall and like my clothes baggier. This fit well, it was long and very loose and roomy like I wanted. I loved how it felt! The only issue I ran into was that I washed it-cold, gentle cycle, and hung dry and it started looking more worn down and the collar and pockets staring curling over and looking off. Not what I expected from Oiselle, especially for that price.

This shacket is SO cozy. I love the wool and casual style and the lux interior makes it super soft and easy to wear and not itchy on the inside! I think I'll wear this is lot in the colder months - easy to throw on with tights and jeans and fall boots! I do wish they'd make this in a dark charcoal or black color, too.

After seeing it at Birdcamp, I knew this was THEE shacket to buy. I was lucky enough to snag a grey in large after they had seemed to sell out. When it arrive I immediately tried it on and didn’t want to take it off. How could this be stylish, comfortable, and so soft?! It is like wearing a stylish tailored lux blanket. Well done Lauren and Oiselle. This is perfection. I’m 5’9” and typically wear large/12 in O.

This came today and I am already completely in love with it. It is soft, warm, and super comfortable. I know I will be wearing this all the time this fall/winter in the PNW. I am usually between small and medium and am happy I got a small.
