FIRECRACKER LONG SLEEVE
For fall and winter running, visibility is the name of the game. This long sleeve layer, with the high quality, all-over reflective Lightning Print and Steam Punk Birds Print, is ready to run at dawn, dusk, or after dark. To be worn solo or over a tank, the long sleeves also have our Big Ass Watch Window, so your stats are always visible. The Plya Interlock fabric is both lightweight and stretchy.
- Plya™ Interlock (polyester / spandex)
- wide + cropped silhouette for easy layering
- highly reflective print for low light visibility
- watch window on both sleeves
- 15.5" body length (size small)
I have worn this top several times and have been really impressed--it layers well over long sleeves, the neck keeps me warm, and the reflectiveness is pretty amazing and makes me feel much safer on runs. Hoping for more from this line in the next season! The only thing I'm not sure about are the wrist holes--the thumb holes I get, but not sure why there's also an opening at the wrist.
I'm 5'6", 140 pounds, and wear a medium--it fits great for running without being too tight!
I really wanted to love this shirt. I have really long arms and I usually need to order a larger size to accommodate for the length and with this shirt, it actually (mostly) worked, until I tried to use the thumbholes. When I actually used the thumbholes, I could feel the shirt tugging and it dug into the space between my thumb and my pointer finger. I love love love the watch window and the design, but the lightning bolts made the fabric stick to itself and every time I moved, the shirt had a scratchy feel and sound. It was very noisy, distracting, and uncomfortable. The seams of the shirt were also already coming undone and, at this price point, I expect more. It's also unclear why the thumbholes were only partially sewn/finished. This shirt is way too expensive to be so sloppily made and it is way too scratchy and noisy. It sadly went back the day after I received it.
I live in the Tacoma, WA area and this running top is great for morning runs. It is stylish, breathable, and reflective. I wear this every morning and I don't care how smelly it gets:-) I wear it!
This long sleeve makes it easy to be seen in dark or dim light. I had some cars unexpectedly stop for me to cross a busy street, which was great! I love that the fabric is subtle and doesn't have that reflective look. I don't usually wear crop tops, but found that layering with a tank top meant that I didn't get too hot during my runs and I still felt comfortable. I'm surprised to find that feel pretty amazing in a crop top. Trying to live on my fashion edge a little and it's fun! I usually wear a 6 or 8 in Oiselle, 34C and got the medium.
Disclaimer: I have never worn a crop top before. I bought this more for the reflective qualities than for the cut! It is growing on me, but I'm VERY glad I sized up. I normally wear a size 8 in Oiselle tops (36B or 34 C, 5'5, 145, large rib cage), and I bought a large. It's definitely more form fitting on me than it appears in the pictures, even going up a size! Also, I wish the neck cut was different, or that there was a zipper option to open it up a little bit. It feels slightly restrictive, and I won't be able to layer it over anything else with a collar. However, I wore it last night at twilight in about 50 degrees falling quickly to 30 degrees by the end of my run, and it was perfect over a thin long sleeve!
This is one of my favorite Oiselle pieces ever. The cropped length makes it perfect for cold race mornings—you can wear a tank top with your bib underneath without worrying about your bib number being visible. There's also less shirt to flap around if you decide to tie it around your waist as it warm up! The reflectivity is an added bonus...it makes it a wonderful evening run layer. No one is going to miss you in this! My only negative is that it only comes in one color...I would happily buy this in every color if they released it in more!! I'd love a non-reflective version that is still cropped. I'm 5'4" 130lbs and a small is great.
Wore this for a 21 mile training run - temperature was in the mid-50s, with 16-20 mph winds making it feel a bit colder, especially pre-dawn. I wore shorts and threw this over a tank, assuming I would eventually take it off and tie it around my waist (I’m a BIG sweater). Ended up wearing it the whole time. No chafing, kept me warm and cool enough (if that makes sense), and I loved that I could still see my watch! This is a fantastic item - don’t sleep on it! For sizing reference, XS fit perfectly...I’m 5’4” 107 lbs and short waisted.
34A, ordered size S, it fit perfectly, looked amazing on, and was a fantastic layer for the one run I wore it on. Wore it around town a few times as well, it was my new favorite top (cute, functional, stylish, and I look like a babe in it lol). But after one was the seams at the wrist have come apart. Seriously, would be 5 stars and gladly, but I can't wear it for activity anymore so I don't stress the seams out further. Bummer.
