Description

Life requires stretch and flexibility. And stretch is best achieved with a rib knit, which can contract and form to the body, but then easily releases when necessary. Better yet, this new performance and seamless rib is also designed to move sweat, and release it on the fabric's surface, so you can stay as dry and comfortable as possible. With a high, but not-too-tight rise, these are the classic, go-with-anything bottoms that can hike, walk, run, or rest - you decide.

Great length that doesn’t ride up

These shorts have been my go to for runs or lounging around the house.

Feel durable

I know some buyers felt like the sizing was off, but this felt true-to-size to me, albeit in a fabric that seems less compressive than some of my other running shorts. That said, the fabric has heft to it and feels like it will last a long time. (It's a bit heavy-weight for where I live in HI, but I imagine would be perfect for the PNW.)

I'd use these for pilates or yoga but not for running

Very bulky and rough fabric. The ribs on the inner thighs are very thick, and when they rub together while running - produce a warming/friction/chafing action and discomfort after 3 miles - I can't imagine wearing these for any serious miles. This was my first Oiselle purchase and I thought since they were designed by female runners they'd be great. Sadly, I was wrong. These may have been designed by female runners, but it doesn't look like the runners who designed them actually ran in them. Imagine that in a few months the inner things will pill up like crazy. Would not recommend.

Just okay

These shorts are okay. There's nothing really wrong with the fit; they are neither flattering or unflattering. The fabric is thick, has an odd texture, doesn't seem to have the kind of stretch that I expected it to have. These are probably gonna be the shorts I wear when all the other ones are in the laundry. There's nothing really wrong with them, but I would not buy them again.
