Seattle Showers Vest

I love the vest and got it mainly as a light extra layer and not so much for rain since we have been in such a drought. However I was caught in a storm, was so happy I had the vest on and pulled up the hood. It is huge (even over my running hat) and with no drawstring there is no way to keep it up. As soon as the wind came up or even when I started running again the hood would just blow back. Of course then it just became a rain collection point.
For dry weather running it is exactly what I hoped for and the fit is ok. As others have said it is a little tight across the chest but not enough to be a problem and the longer length is great. Now I wish there was a way to just remove the hood as I will never bother to use it again. I do keep it rolled up.

Another review mentioned it being tight across the chest, so I chose the large to avoid that (5'3" 160 36D). It fit well up top but the waist was quite loose There's no drawstring around the bottom (I guess it would be incompatible with the side vents) and as a result the bottom wasn't fitted enough at my waist. So much so that I didn't feel like I could run with my phone in the pocket because it was bouncing around so much. I think a medium would address this but would probably be too tight in the chest. Also being on the short side I found it to be a bit long for my torso (which maybe exacerbated the floppiness on my waist). Maybe there's a body type this works for, but I don't think it's me.

Summer 2022. I have 2 of the Vigor vests in a size medium. I am 5'4" and 160 pounds (what can I say, these past two years have been rough and I have put on some weight so I moved up a size to a large for this particular vest.). The medium vigor vest recently became tight across my chest with my weight gain so I bought this vest in a size large. This vest is loose everywhere else and longer than the Vigor vest but even in a size large it's still tight across the chest region. I wear a 36 C . Not sure if I will keep this item. Love the color and the pattern.

I love this vest! It is the perfect addition to a running wardrobe. I love that you can fold it into its own pocket for storage. The patterns are beautiful. The length is great. The fabric is great (i haven’t tested it’s water proof properties and likely never will - I use it to keep my body warm over a thin-ish long sleeve top when it’s chilly but not terribly cold.)

I ordered a small (as a gift for a friend) and a medium for myself. The medium is slightly too big and the small is just a bit tight across the chest (I’m not big chested at all) The sizing is so strange. I may end up keeping both and using them for different purposes.

I love all the oiselle products and find them to be of good quality - but the one issue I have is that the sizing is very off between different items.
