It's a shirt and it's a jacket, and that's why it's a shacket! Kara was looking for a "barn coat" look, so we gave this puffer a casual-style shirt tail hem and roll up sleeves with snaps for getting the work done. The Kara Puffy Shacket is built to keep you cozy in high country winter style, while providing the performance-level protection you expect from our outerwear. Similar to our Puff Queen Jacket, but with more length and more yeehaw.

Kara Puffy Shacket

LOVE this shacket... sometimes I have to purchase Oiselle Large (tops/bras) only because I am a bit over 37B with wider & somewhat broader upper torso/rib cage.
Not so here..went with a Medium and it was perfect! When I first saw this shacket I fell in love with the Aura color but my practical side took over (I hate when that happens!) and went with Ivory..(=lly Beautiful!) Love the western pockets and everything about this shacket and also that it is NOT made with down...exactly how I would have designed it.
I was going to ding one star for somewhat more sparse fill but couldn't bring myself to do it :) It wouldn't be my 'daily driver' if I lived in one of the colder northern states, but I live in New England it's perfect even on colder days...
I'm 5'7" (150 lb) and it is appx 5 inches above center kneecap...
get it while you can ...and yes...I did just now finally order the 'Aura color' on sale ..my treat for being a good girl ;-)

So cute + warm

Got this in ivory a it's so pretty. Lot of compliments and asking who makes it. :) I love that it isn't down so I finally have a warm long coat that doesn't get feathers all over my clothes. The water-resistance is nice too.
