POST RUN JACKET
We took the super soft, very popular fabric used in all of our quilted styles and created a non-quilted version for the ultimate apres-sport pullover. A relaxed fit, tall collar, and simple front kangaroo pocket gives it a sport-style vibe. Plus, the weight is thick enough to be that ideal cross between a jacket and a sweatshirt.
- polyester / cotton / spandex
- half zip pullover silhouette
- front hand pouch
- relaxed fit
- 24" front body length (size small)
- 24.4" rear body length (size small)
A post-run jacket sounded dreamy from the start and after wearing it, yes, post-runs and also in between runs, it has become my go-to sweatshirt/jacket. It's so soft, like wearing a cloud and super comfortable to carry out the day or moments in. I sized down and it was the perfect blend of fit and roominess. I was lucky to score the lovely green one and while my size is sold out in the other colors, I hope this jacket becomes a Oiselle staple and we see more of it in the future. Thanks, all!
I love this top! Soft, warm, cozy, beautiful rich color (Douglas Fir), and functional. I have been wearing it nonstop since purchase. Sizing wise, I am glad I got to try on before buying. I am 5'4 and petite with a short torso, so I sized down from my normal S to an XS and still have plenty of room for layers underneath. The length might feel cropped on someone with a longer torso when sizing down but, again, for my body, the perfect fit. I am considering buying another in a different color!
So I’m about to say something I’m sure a lot of you will consider sacrilege: I think this is way better than the Lauren pullover. Hear me out. I loved the softness of the outside of the Lauren but didn’t care for the inside. It felt like a 1960s housecoat. But this one is soft on the inside and out. The fabric is a nice mid-heavy weight and the name is apt: it’s the thing you want to put on after a long run on a cold day. The one drawback? Like the Lauren the sleeves are SO long! 80% will not have an issue with this but we shorties will need to cuff it. I’m even thinking about taking it to a tailor to shorten the sleeves because I like it so much. I could have sized down but I think it wouldn’t have been as cozy. It’s a bit pricey for what it is (I wouldn’t consider this true outerwear) but I’ve already worn it so much I don’t feel too guilty.
