Per usual, it starts with a five-star fabric; in this case from the scientists at Schoeller, a global leader in high performance, technical fabrics. As a 2.5 layered laminate, Schoeller's e3+ Protection Plus is designed specifically for high intensity output in high intensity weather. As you heat up, the textured interior keeps the fabric from sticking to your skin, while the specially designed laminate moves heat and moisture through the fabric while preventing rain and wetness from entering on the surface. To literally, seal the deal, all zippers are 100% waterproof, and every seam has been sealed, so no water can leak in. Add adjustability at the hood and hem, and it's the ultra lightweight water-proof shell that's ready for anything.

I love this jacket so much! Keeps me warm and dry.

I have had my bright orange Say Anything jacket since 12/2020. I picked the color for safety reasons and I have worn it a lot. I expected this to be my go to extra layer for many years. However, the past two times I have worn this, when I removed the jacket, I have noticed a lot of white, dandruff looking flakes all over my (usually dark colored) shirts. I inspected my jacket and discovered the lining is cracking and disintegrating. I have wash it according to instructions and line drying it. I am so heartbroken as it really is my favorite jacket to run in. I may purchase another, keeping all this in mind, and try to minimize the number of times I wash this. It is pricey though and I expected this hold up longer than it has.

I am a huge fan of the Vim Jacket, and have worn it religiously for years. I wanted something a little more substantial for the upper Midwest winter, and the Say Anything jacket is perfect. I wore it on a recent run of 19 degrees air temperature with a windchill of 0 degrees, and I was comfortable and happy. I love this jacket!

I've purchased a few "waterproof" jackets from various running brands, but this one outperforms all the others. You can see the rain bouncing off of it! Ran for 30 minutes in Washington State-level rain and it was totally dry when I got home. Plus you can secure the hood so it stays on. I'm 5'3" and 115lbs and the XS fit perfectly.
