I was hesitant to purchase these at first. I have a handful of OG distance shorts and love them, but was concerned about the fit after reading some of the previous reviews on the new distance shorts. Well I’m here to say - these are totally under rated and my favorite shorts of the season!!! I like having a looser short that I can kick around in for the weekend and they feel great on runs. My boyfriend even likes the geo flower print and he really doesn’t care about fashion in the least! They are super comfy on runs and the fabric is super light and airy. I even like them more than my Rogas!. I haven’t had any issues with the waist and found these TTS. Get them, you won’t regret it!
I love the new fabric! They are incredibly light and breezy. I have been a roga lover for a long time and possibly like these better. I got one size larger because I wanted a looser fit, and it was perfect. I will be ordering more.
Fit seems a little longer than the OG distance shorts and the waist is smaller. Love the fabric-it’s really light weight and quick drying.
I want to live in these shorts- comfy, lightweight and flattering. They are cute enough to wear everyday. Amazing for running, lounging and spending time outside!
These shorts are super lightweight and airy. The fit around the thighs is perfect. Doesn’t cling or feel tight. Would love to see these in more color and pattern options. I actually sized down from my normal size in the roga short.
I don't like the cut or the fabric as much as the non patterned ones. IMO they are not as flattering. The OGs are my all time favorite shorts, so I had high hopes for these, but they are just okay. I will still keep them, I just won't wear them as much as the OGs.
My first pair of Distance shorts finally gave up the ghost. You remember those ones- with the small turquoise drawstrings? These are SUCH an improvement- the same stretchy fabric as the flyout short....meets a VERY comfortable waistband (I'm in the minority, but I love the wider waistband). I first tested them on 5 soggy miles, and I didn't think about them ONCE, in a good way. The fabric just gets out of the way of your legs when it should and still provides a feminine and flattering fit/feel. I came back to buy two more pairs and alas, my size is out! I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs. A size 6 is my jam.
I have been a fan of the distance shorts for a while. The updated version is good, with one flaw. The good: -Great lightweight fabric and print. -All the pockets! Fits all the stuff! -They are a nice length. The not as good: -The waistband is just too wide. I have found it tends to fold over. I also wish there was a drawstring.
