ROLL WITH IT BIRD HUG TIGHTS
"What if we could have tights without the waistband squeeze, and the ability to customize the rise?" That's the question the O design team asked, and these tights are the answer. First, they're in our beloved Bird Hug fabric, known for its unparalleled softness. But it's the waistband that's truly novel. With no elastic, and an extra high panel/rise that can be left high, or can be rolled down to any height desired. Though these might not be be your go-fast tights, the soft compression keeps it all in place for most of life's adventures, both indoor and out. Plus reversible! Two times the fun.
- bird hug reversible fabric (polyester / spandex)
- high waist with roll over waistband
- reversible design
- 25.5" inseam
I’m so glad Oiselle has these tights. Love your products and needed something for maternity running. I saw reviews saying how good they were for maternity and so went for it. Fit and feel is super important to me pre pregnancy and during. These fit the bill. Super happy with the purchase. I have one pair for running and one for hanging out. I look forward to how they fair for postpartum as well. Need more colors/prints please!
I read all the other reviews saying that these should be maternity leggings. So I gave them a shot! I love them—so buttery soft and expand really well with the belly and butt. They aren’t thick at all, so if you’re easily cold, I’d layer or wear them on a warmer day. I love the cold, though, so my legs were comfy in these while walking in the 20s. I’d love to see more in different solid colors in 2022!
I really wanted to love these, the pattern and fabric are fantastic. The problem is they don’t stay up. I bought my usual Oiselle size, but they fall down when I walk, I haven’t even tried running in them. There isn’t soft compression, their just soft but completely unwearable.
I could not agree more with everyone who recommended these as maternity leggings. Legs are tight enough to hold them up so the waist band just lays flat across my belly. Seems like there will be space to grow. I like these more than the beyond yoga maternity leggings. Better fit and material. I’m 25 weeks pregnant now, normally size 6, got these in an 8 and they’re perfect.
Reviewers don't lie - these are FANTASTIC for pregnancy. I'm 34 weeks along and living in these. They're incredibly soft and not so tight that they're painful/make you feel like you're being squeezed to death. The high waist portion lets you choose whether you want the tights below your bump or well covering it (so you can avoid buying overpriced maternity shirts), or something in between. Kicking myself for only buying one pair when my size was in stock!
They are so so soft and comfortable. I LOVE the no elastic/fold-over waist. Great for when you ate a lot of yummy food. Also wonderful for pregnancy. I can tell I'm going to be wearing these throughout the next several months as the baby grows. I hope that you guys release more colors!! The lemon print/yellow combo would be so fresh for summer!
Just thought I’d review my SECOND pair of roll with it bird hug tights. Ran a grueling 25k trail race yesterday and they stayed perfectly put even while scrambling up and over some serious cliffs. Just bought a third pair... ready for new colors/patterns!
I had been struggling to find comfortable maternity tights as a lot of the maternity-specific tights I find to be itchy and sometimes too tight on the belly and then uncomfortable in the crotch area, too. Anyway, I read a couple reviews by other pregnant women (thank you for your posts!) about these, and decided to give them a try. I'm so, so, so glad I did. I normally (pre-pregnancy) wear a 4 in Roga shorts and a 6 in Oiselle tights (5'4", 125lbs, typical "runner body type" pre-pregnancy). I went with the 6 in these and they fit me even at my current 150+ pounds. The material is very stretchy but still light and not too thick, so it doesn't feel annoying on my stomach. I can wear it up over my stomach or rolled down and it's equally comfortable. The crotch is fine, have been wearing them and haven't had any problems with sagging. They're a touch long/loose at the ankles since I'm on the short side, but because they're reversible I can just fold them up and it looks fine. I'm not sure I can wear any other pants during my pregnancy now! And I can tell they will be good for post-partum as well.
