FLYOUT WOOL LONG SLEEVE
The buzz on this fabric is high. It's been a much anticipated release at The Nest, as staffers touch, feel, and wear test. Known as the "Swiss Army knife" of technical knits, Flyout Wool is truly one of the most versatile fabrics we've offered. Its secret sauce is its construction AND Merino Wool blend. It wicks moisture just as wonderfully as our regular Flyout. But with 30% Merino Wool, it's also warmer, so you can either stay cool or warm up, depending on your climate. This long sleeve silhouette is a classic crew, with slight shaping, and extra long cuffs that include our Watch Window, so you can instantly view your running watch without tugging and pulling at sleeves and cuffs.
- watch window on both sleeves
- 24.5" body length (size 4)
I've always been a seasonal runner but 2020 has made me rethink that. As I transitioned to cooler weather running in the rainy PNW, I started looking for better gear. This shirt has been perfect! Wears well, keeps me warm without overheating and doesn't pick up a funk. Easy to wear alone or in layers. I've worn it from 36-50 degrees and been very comfortable. First bought the crackle orange color. It is quite sheer with my bra showing pretty well through the shirt. I figure my high waist pants and full coverage bra cover enough that the sheerness doesn't matter a lot to me. This could be a problem for others. Was gifted a second of these in the green. Much better coverage. I would give 5 stars if the shirts were less sheer and if they were longer. I'm 5'10" and could really use a few more inches in length. Ordered size 16/18 based on measurements and am otherwise happy with the fit.
I really love this shirt! The price is worth it but of course buy on sale if you can :) much warmer than the flyte but has all the great details: thumb and watch holes and is warm even though it feels thin. My only complaint is that I wish it came in more bolder colors!!!
Love this top! I wore this for a 39 degree run yesterday with no other layers and it was perfect. For colder weather, I will probably add another layer. I love the thumb holes and watch window (there's one on each arm so you could wear this as a lefty or righty). I wish they made this in other colors as well because I would buy more! I am 5'7, 140 lb, and the size 6 is perfect for me.
Love love love this top! Very lightweight but keeps you much warmer than you'd expect. I've worn this with an insulated jacket for running in MN winters temps and been very comfortable. Love the watch window and that the fit is just a bit more relaxed than oiselle tanks
This is a perfect shirt for chilly runs. I wear it alone in temps around 35° and as a layer in colder temps. I am 5’4” and 130lbs and got a 4. It is so flattering and cute and not scratchy at all. I get compliments every time I wear it. In fact, I am here to purchase another!
i love this shirt. perfect for runs with a chill in the air (Michigan chill = icy wind in the 30s). love that it is warm from the start, where some tech-y fabrics are cold until a mile into a run. this is breathable and perfect. It is light and i don't overheat at all. i tend to have sensitivity to wool fabrics, but this is unlike any wool i've ever worn, feels more like a light cotton on the skin. actually bought a second top and also one for my sister. also, can't speak highly enough of oiselle quality and design...LOVE the watch hole...women designers have things figured out!!!! Please more colors!
I bought this during Black Friday as it was cooling off in Iowa for outdoor runs. I ran in it for the first time tonight with a light windbreak jacket over top. It was great for temperature regulation and I didn’t want to take it off once I got done. I’m 5’4” about 135lbs and got a size 6. It seemed the most snug in the arms and slightly loose around my midsection.
Love this shirt! I had read it was short, but I didn’t find that to be the case for me. It’s stretchy and softer than the flyout. Perfect for cold weather without getting the chills from sweat. I’m 5’7’’ with an average torso and the length goes a little past my hips. I got a 6.
