A LOOK BACK AT TOKYO 2020 + THE WOMEN WHO WIELDED POWER THROUGH STYLE
The extent to which Olympians in Tokyo have used apparel or style to articulate who they are and what they stand for is incredibly meaningful. There is power in what they choose, and choose not, to wear. Their apparel is a rejection of hypersexualization, objectification, an assertion of what they need to succeed, command of bodily autonomy, and commitment to navigating the world unapolgetically.

(OLYMPIC) TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS: RAMBLINGS ON AN 11 HOUR FLIGHT
Haute Volée Rebecca Mehra traveled straight from her gritty performances at the Olympic Trials (where she finished 11th in both the 1500m and 800m overall) to Europe to continue racing. There’s no fairy-tale ending here, but if you read to the bottom, it’s better than a fairy tale.

TAKE IT TO THE STREETS
Oiselle was honored to recently partner with Mechelle Lewis Freeman, Jennifer Forrester, and TrackGirlz to present storytelling by the legendary Tigerbelles team from the 1960’s. We are big believers in the TrackGirlz mission of empowering girls through track and field. Check out their latest initiative - street racing - and join in the fun if you’ll be in Eugene for the Track and Field Olympic Trials!
