Acknowledging our own goodness.

I'm speaking out on knowing our own light. Sitting in our own shadow is easy. It's comfortable. But if we're going to know our real self, we have to accept our own light. Our own truth. And once we embrace our own goodness, and only then, can we shine a light out for others. It seems to me it's too easy for women to see others' light and deflect our own. I'm speaking out on knowing our own light and goodness first; and then shining the hell out of it to the world. Whew. That's scary. Even here. But it needs doing.
