Why do you run?
I run for many reasons, and as the days pass I find more and more ways to enjoy it. Running makes me feel centered, gives me a chance to be outside, and helps me to balance work and home life. I love how I feel after running and how even a short run can turn a rough day into a good day. I enjoy having a goal, such as a race distance or time, and setting up a training plan to help me reach that goal. Beyond this, I enjoy the camaraderie between runners and sharing a hobby with both friends and my husband. I want to be healthy and to encourage others to be healthy too.
What is your favorite place to run?
I love running in San Francisco along the Embarcadero and across the Golden Gate Bridge or any portion of the Bay Trail.
Running gear you can't live without?
Oiselle Arm Warmers, sunglasses, and a non-slip headband.
What is your favorite local running store?
Fleet Feet Sports Menlo Park and Sports Basement Sunnyvale.
When you're not running where would we find you?
Skiing, hiking, strength training or cuddling with my cute cat.
