Why do you run?
So many reasons: for sanity, for release, for fun, to lose weight/maintain weight, to sweat, to breathe fresh air, to explore my city/the world, to travel, to make new friends, to bond with old friends, to always have goals, to get stronger, to connect with nature, to feel empowered, to feel free, to raise funds for charity, to compete, to feel alive, and because it's spiritual.
What is your favorite place to run?
Far off places I'm exploring for the first time. I also love running near a body of water or somewhere with scenic views such as mountain peaks or fields; desolate spots where I can be alone with nature and my thoughts.
Running gear you can't live without?
My Garmin 610; I love gadgets and this one has a nifty touch screen that's pretty responsive.
What is your favorite local running store?
First Place Sports. They are very involved with the local community and organize numerous races.
When you're not running where would we find you?
On a plane; I love travelling and make up any excuse to do so.
