Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
Go big or go home.
What is your favorite post-race treat?
Mexican food and then the next morning I like to find a local bakery and have a latte and baked goods.
What is your favorite place to run?
I love running through Interlaken Blvd in Seatle. It's a mid-run retreat that I can access any day of the year for a green, quiet, and peaceful couple of miles.
Why do you run?
Running gives me a huge sense of accomplishment. For all those mornings I roll out of bed to put in the work, I am rewarded with faster times, a healthy body, and a sense of pride; no one else could have made that happen but me. Besides that, I feel like something is missing in my day when I don't get my blood pumping and my heart working.
Where would we find you when you're not running?
Hiking, cycling or backpacking. If the weather is not cooperating, you might find me in the kitchen doing imporvisational baking.
Complete the sentence: If I was stranded in a hotel room with one movie and one book, they would be…
Amelie and East of Eden.
