I purchased this top in Clean Blue. It is so soft. It is stretchy and fitted but in a good way (does not look inappropriate or feel restrictive). The overall feel can only be described as "natural." BONUS: I spilled balsamic vinegar on it the first wear. I thought it was a goner. It washed out immediately. This top is a keeper! I am 5'5" and 123 lbs with a bra size of 32C. The small fit perfectly.
- Texture, Fit, Bird Design
I've wanted this classic tank for so long, and I had no idea how soft it would be. On a vacation this past week both my mom and sister commented on how nice it looked. I got a medium in the light blue (which is gorgeous and goes with every pair of shorts I have). For reference, I'm 5'8", 34c, 145lb, and the medium, while form-fitting, looks great!
I love this tank! I have 2 and wear them all the time for running and yoga. Please bring back the lavender color!
- the fit - fitted but not too tight, still flattering and the lavender color!
- nothing, would love to order more but am not crazy about the olive and pea green colors
This is a great shirt to run in. It has a great fit, a bit large for me in XS, but very comfy. Love the styling and the feel. I wish I had one in every color.
- Fit, feel and style
I love the design of this top, but I wish I loved the fit. I got an XS, my normal size, and it's huge. I could probably wear this at 6 months pregnant, and it gets even bigger the longer I wear it. I don't know if it was just a fluke, or what. I'd love to purchase more, since I love the colors and print, but it just isn't flattering. Note: I'm a thin-ish person, but not like elite-marathoner tiny. I know there are lots of people out there who are smaller than me, so it's odd that even the smallest size was too big.
- Colors, design
I am 5'4" and 110 pounds. I got a this in a small because xsmall (my normal Oiselle size) was gone. However, I could not have had an xs because the arm holes are smaller and it cuts into my armpits. I ran a 10 mile in it and I was chaffed very badly. I tried to stretch it and everything. However, the rest of the tank is too large on me. I got it on clearance so I can't return it but I can't wear it running...totally bummed! This is the same with the Birds of a Feather Tank. The armpits wholes need to be larger or the neckline needs to be longer. I am a smaller person and if I have this issue I am sure others do also.
Just got this top, and the fit is nice. Love the print, and charcoal is a nice grey color.
I run in tank tops most of the year, and this is by far my favorite! I have been wearing it on my long training runs and I love it! It feels so light, fits great, doesn't stick to you and it's cute! I must admit- I have all three colors :)! Happy running!

My favorite running top
This and the Runway Bra were one of the two items that inspired me to place my first order with Oiselle. I live in Hawaii now, but I went to college in Seattle. I also love birds and orange, so naturally had to get the Flyte Tank in Pop. This top is not too clingy or form-fitting, but sort of just skims my body all around. It feels light, breathable, and comfortable, and the cheerful pop color with the mesh birds and "Fly" on the back really inspire me to keep pushing when I run. I will wear it whenever I feel a little sluggish!
Cool, good looking, nice straps
This tank top stays cool even in hot, sweaty runs in the South and the fabric doesn't get slimy like some of the lightweight tank tops I have from other brands. It's soft and feels light as you run/work out. I also really like the shaping of oiselle's tank tops - the armholes come up pretty high on your armpits/chest and then cut in so you still get cool and good-looking strappiness, but don't have any visible weird armpit bulges from your sportsbra (or, you know, if you're a normal sized human and not stick thin). The front scoop is a little lower than I expected, but that just allows another pop of color from your sportsbra I guess? and it does tend to stretch out a little. I also love the design - the birds are a little meshy/see through and the orange color is nice and bright! Thanks oiselle for making clothes in colors other than pastels!
I bought a M because I like running tops a little looser and a little longer, and it fits me exactly as I want. I usually wear smalls in non workout wear. I'm 5'4" and 34B on top, petite athletic build, with a little squish around my middle.
Worth the price
Since I started running 10 years ago, I wouldn’t spend more than $20 (usually $6!) on a top. After trying Oiselle's Gwen tank top last year, I realized that a little extra money will provide a level of comfort, function and style that make my runs more enjoyable. The Flyte tank is by far my favorite Oiselle tank, and I own most of them. It’s a bit shorter than their other tops, but this is what I prefer. Long tanks generally tend to travel up my waist causing that swishing donut effect while running. This one stays put; no adjustments required! The fabric is soft and light - perfect for speedwork or long, hot runs.
I bought a size small - it's snug, but I wouldn't want a bigger size. It's fitted everywhere but it skims my waist, hiding the little bit of belly jiggle I have. I'm 5'7, 126 pounds and my measurements are 31-26-37.5. Bonus: it looks super cute with the distance shorts.
Chafed under arms
Chafed under the arms on a long run. I like the fabric, but I don't totally love the cut, especially the wide shoulder "straps".
get while you can!
Very pretty, could easily double as a day time shirt, careful though as the bird design is a tiny bit see through when stretched. I wear a medium in pretty much everything and this is true to size, keep in mind it is meant to be a bit loose.
Love fabric and feel- runs a bit big
Love the soft fabric and the overall look of the tank but thought it ran a bit big. I am usually a Small top (5'8" 140 lbs 34A) but would have gone down to XS after a few trial runs because after sweating I thought it got a bit baggy! No complaints other than that and definitely worth the purchase!
Light as a feather
I these with a sense of doubt that the "large" would actually fit (I'm more of an XL kind of gal), but to my surprise it was almost loose! These tanks are super light, wick like a dream, and are unbelievably comfortable. I have this in all three colors and would definitely get more if they're ever offered.
love at first flyte
This may be the most perfect running top ever made! I live in Florida and this tank is ideal for the heat and humidity. Beautiful colors, moisture wicking, and fitted but not tight. I usually wear a medium in Oiselle but wasn't sure about this piece. Ended up sticking with a medium and it fits and moves just right!
All time favourite top!
I bought the flyte tank in pink when they were first released, and I now own the green and the indigo.
I chose to size up to a medium to ensure it wasn't tight (I wear small to medium depending on style). It fit me perfectly initially, and now that I have a growing bump it is still a perfect fit! I have no doubt it will fit through my whole pregnancy.
Super soft, no stink, and looks great.

It does so many things..
Great for yoga, running and weight training. Comfortable, no itchy seams, wicks sweat nicely, and is not like a suction device on your body (thanks for that). Highly recommended! P.S. Agree that biggest hazard is wearing inside out...
So cute and perfect! Scoop is a bit lower than I expected but nice and sassy. Biggest hazard is being sure its not inside out! Love it.
Versatile tank top
This is such a wonderful piece. It's soft, stretches in all the right places, and is super wicking and breathable. I love the design too! But what I really love about this tank top is the fabric. It's soft and smooth on the skin and feels incredibly light even though it's probably no thinner than an average running tank top or shirt. I have it in the coral and pink colors and I have worn them pretty much every week during the hot weather. I've also worn it for yoga. I think they will be great for layering as the fall weather rolls in. Another plus is that it's super fashionable. I've worn it out with a cardigan and jeans or solo with shorts. Don't we all want running clothes that are this comfy and versatile??
