As women runners, we’re often told “never run alone” and “always tell someone where you’ll be.” Yes, there is definitely strength in numbers, and it is always a good idea to tell someone where you plan to run. But if we’re being honest, we run alone a lot. And sometime we change up our running route on the fly.
For awhile we have been wanting our community to see what Britney does day in and day out, preparing to throw an 8.8 pound metal ball over more than 200 feet in distance...while staying within a 7 foot diameter circle. How is that possible?! What are the rules of competition for the hammer throw? What does practice look like?
