Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
Be Yourself. Everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde
This is a good reminder to accept and embrace who you are - including as a runner!
The mind gives up long before the body. - In other words, suck it up. - Tracy
Why do you run?
I love the fact that it can always get better, and you can always improve - how many of us really know our ceiling?
What is your favorite place to run?
Anywhere along the river in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Trust me, it's not just an ordinary bike path. On any given day, it's a gathering place of our awesome running community here in the cities. Plus, in the warmer months, you get spectacular views, and the cold months, it's one of the spots you can trust will be plowed.
Running gear you can't live without?
My orthotics for my problematic feet, and a good pair of shorts - my Oiselle Rogas!
When you're not running where would we find you?
Relaxing watching bad t.v., hanging out with friends, going to concerts with my husband, and eating out at good restaurants here in the ciities...my husband also runs, and we both have huge appetites and LOVE to eat and try new places.
What is your favorite post-race treat?
Any brunch food...hashbrowns included.
Complete the sentence: If I was stranded in a hotel room with one movie and one book, they would be…
Knocked Up (seriously, this movie is never NOT on t.v., and I always find myself watching it, so I could definitely stand to have to watch it over and over again) and Bossypants by Tina Fey.
