Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
“Whatever your 100% looks like, give it” - LiveStrong

Why do you run?
These days I run because some of my very favorite girl friends run, and it’s a great opportunity to “be” with them. I also run because I love setting goals and going after them. And lastly, running competitively helps me as a parent get the satisfaction of competing for myself so that I don’t have to compete through my children :)

What is your favorite post-race meal?
An icy mocha right after a run and a juicy burger and beer after a good race.

Do you have a training philosophy?
Well, the older I get, the more I tell myself to respect the signals my body is sending me.  When it needs a day of rest, or a day of cross training, I listen to it!

What is your favorite place to run?
Anywhere in Priest Lake, Idaho.

What is your must-have piece of running gear?
Two rubberbands for my pigtails.

What animal do you most resemble in your racing and why?
Hmmmm, I’ve never been told I resemble an animal while running, although I have been told I walk like a duck…..  my husband has also called me a peacock several times because I love to dress in bright colors!

What is your favorite activity, when not running?
Being entertained by my husband and hanging with the kids.
Complete the sentence: If I was stranded in a hotel room with one movie and one book, they would be…
Pride and Prejudice for both!  (the BBC production of the movie, though).
