Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
“Good enough never is"
Why do you run?
I run to own the streets of NYC at 7am on a Sunday. I run to see how far my body can go, and after that point, how far my mind can push my body. I run to constantly remind myself that hard work leads to success. I run because I like junk food. I run because my best friends are runners. I run to see the world in a different way.
What is your favorite place to run?
Hudson River Park: from South Street all the way up to the George Washington Bridge in NYC; Tyler Park in PA; and Colorado trails.
Running gear you can't live without?
My watch: I am a running purist so it only keeps my time not my distance.
What is your favorite local running store?
The Athletic Shoe Shop in Newtown, PA.
When you're not running where would we find you?
Studying but wishing that I was running or exploring NYC.
What is your favorite post-race treat?
Anything to fulfill my raging sweet tooth.
Complete the sentence: If I was stranded in a hotel room with one movie and one book, they would be…
Garden State and The Glass Castle.
