What is your favorite place to run?
There are lots of great places to run in Fort Collins. I love running on the Poudre Trail next to the river and enjoying the majestic views of the mountains. I also like losing myself on the country roads just north of the city. Nothing beats the sight of an old farm houses and barns.
Why do you run?
I run because it is my “me” time and it provides clarity and a consciousness that I can’t get anywhere else. Everything is better when I’m running! I also love the challenges of new workouts and the way my body feels when I know I have given everything.
Where would we find you when you're not running?
If I’m not running, I’m either planning a new lab for my students, weightlifting, scouring the new “Clean Eating” magazine for a quick dinner recipe, reading a new running non-fiction book, or enjoying the company of my amazing family.
