Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
“Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired." - George S. Patton, US Army General, 1912 Olympian
Why do you run?
I run because running makes me feel strong and fierce. Running long distance makes me feel like I can accomplish anything in life. If I can run 26.2 miles, I can accomplish other areas in my life such as facing the challenges and meeting deadline at work, overcome any unexpected struggles in life that come my way. Running helps set my mind at ease when my life can get chaotic.
