Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
"Because. I. Can!"
"Life begins where your comfort level ends."
Why do you run?
In a non-race setting, I run to free my mind and escape the chaos of the day. I run to enjoy social time with a friend. I run to enjoy the scenery around me. I run to achieve my goal of a faster time or a longer distance. I run because no matter what is going on in my life, I can always head out for a run. I run because running is my "happy place."
I'd be lying if I said that I'm not competitive. I am. When the countdown to race time begins, and the gun goes off, I'm focused and ready to win (even if that just means beating my previous time!)
What is your favorite place to run?
Along the coast in Monterey, California.
What is your favorite local running store?
Georgia Game Changers
When you're not running where would we find you?
Spending time my son and my husband, working and creating in my HankOrange studio/office.
What is your favorite post-race treat?
Chocolate milk or a mimosa from my fav Monterey cafe.
Complete the sentence: If I was stranded in a hotel room with one movie and one book, they would be…
Something funny! I love to laugh. Book would probably be my Bible.
