Do you have a quote that guides, inspires, or embodies your training/racing/life?
“Baby we were born to run” – Bruce Springsteen
Why do you run?
Running is my release, my therapy, my gravity. I run to think, see new places, work out problems, escape a mile long to do list. I run when I am sad, happy, or completely blah. I run when life is great and when life is the last thing I want to deal with. I run for the physical stress of putting one foot in front of the other, swinging my arms, breathing hard and sweating. I run for the balance I maintain for the rest of the day. I run to race, to share love of the sport with others. I run to make friends, develop relationships, talk about everything and nothing over miles of terrain.
